Writer's picture: Constable Darren SmithConstable Darren Smith

You're not the only one enjoying the road this summer. With more bicyclists out and about, it's crucial to stay alert and share the road responsibly.

Summertime means more people are biking, so let's all do our part to keep everyone safe:

  •  Watch for Cyclists: Always check your mirrors and blind spots.

  •  Give Space: Leave at least 3 feet when passing a bicyclist.

  •  Be Patient: Avoid aggressive driving behaviors near cyclists.

  •  Stay Focused: Avoid distractions and stay aware of your surroundings.

Let's make the roads safer for everyone. Drive safe, stay alert, and enjoy your summer!
